Privacy notice
This notice explains how Pennycroft Financial Guidance (“we”) collects and uses personal data when you visit query-insight.digital, submit an enquiry, or become a client of our UK financial advice practice.
Data controller
Pennycroft Financial Guidance is the data controller for personal data described here. Contact: hello@query-insight.digital, 72816 Jammie Shore, Dicki-le-Maggio, England, United Kingdom, telephone +44-5-138-7485.
Data we collect
Enquiry forms may collect your name, email, phone number, preferred call window, consultation interest, and message content. During an engagement we may collect identity details, financial circumstances, pension and policy information, and records of advice — only as needed to advise you and meet regulatory record-keeping duties.
Purposes and lawful bases
- Responding to enquiries — legitimate interests and steps prior to a contract.
- Delivering advice under an engagement — performance of a contract and legal obligations.
- Improving site performance via optional analytics cookies — consent where required.
- Sending seasonal notes if you subscribe — consent, which you may withdraw.
Retention
Enquiry messages that do not become clients are kept up to twenty-four months unless a longer period is needed for complaints or legal claims. Client advice files are retained for periods required by financial services regulation and our professional obligations, typically a minimum of five years after the end of the relationship and longer where rules require.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection in the circumstances the law allows. You may also withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. These rights are not absolute — regulatory retention can limit erasure. You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
International transfers
We prefer to store and process data within the United Kingdom. If a provider processes data outside the UK, we use appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses approved for UK use.
Sharing
We may share data with product providers when placing cover or investments you authorise, with professional referees you approve, with IT and email hosts under contract, and with regulators or courts when legally required.
Cookies
See our cookies page for details of essential and analytics cookies and how to manage consent.
Updates
We may update this notice periodically. The published version is the current one.
